Fan de pendentifs artisanaux, j’ai cherché des pendentifs un peu plus modernes que les cabochons et j’ai trouvé sur un site internet des pendentifs en cuivre destinés initialement à être émaillés. Leur taille est intéressante car ils ne sont ni trop petits ni trop grands (45mm) et ils ont l’air robuste.

Du coup, beaucoup plus de travail à fournir que pour les cabochons car il a fallu poncer la surface, appliquer un primaire pour métaux non ferreux, faire mon fluidart (pas évident sur une surface de cette taille) et résiner. Et c’est sans compter la protection et préparation de l’autre face. Mais le travail au final est plutôt satisfaisant.

Vous trouverez ci-dessous deux films concernant la séance de fluidart pour réaliser ces pendentifs mais entre leur petite taille et mon téléphone dans la main qui bouge, ce n’est pas idéal mais ça donne une idée!

Fan of artisanal pendants, I looked for pendants a little more modern than cabochons and I found on a website copper pendants originally intended to be enameled. Their size is interesting because they are neither too small nor too big (45mm) and they look sturdy.

So much more work to do than for the cabochons because it was necessary to sand the surface, apply a primer for non-ferrous metals, make my fluidart (not obvious on a surface of this size) and resin. And that’s without counting the protection and preparation of the other side. But the work in the end is quite satisfactory.

You will find two films below concerning the fluidart session to make these pendants but between their small size and my phone in my hand that moves, it is not ideal but it gives an idea!
